Today Deep Baltic presents the work of Ģirts Raģelis, a Latvian photographer based in Riga. His ongoing project Pilsētas piezīmes [City Notes] gives a fascinating insight into the many contrasting sides of the largest city in the Baltic states. He’s prepared a selection of images for us, which you can see below.
About the project, Raģelis says “City Notes are my daily remarks on life in my hometown, Riga – it’s a diary-like reflection of time and space. My favourite means of transportation is walking, and this allows me to collect moments and different situations from life in the city.”
